Valencia, Spain

Producing 76 million liters of wine annually, Valencia is one of the top wine producing regions in Europe.  Both white and red vine varieties are grown over 15,000 hectares, on 87 vineyards, or Bodegas as they are known in Spain.

The wines of Valencia are varied.  They include fruity, aromatic whites with an alcohol content between 10-12º, Very dark reds with a lot of body, as well as fortified wines.  During your stay you will find the table wines to be well-priced and harmonious with foods served.  Try Cambrillas or Cerro Gordo, both reds that pair with red meat, game and cured cheese.  Vall Sant Jaume is a tasty red wine that goes well with meat, rice and pasta dishes.
