In a trip through Lanzarote, the locals recommended I’d visit the Timanfaya Park, I was amazed by the place, I didn’t imagine it had so many interesting features.
Timanfaya is a National Park of a volcanic origin, the last eruptions date from the years 1730 and 1736, in the 18th century. There are several volcanoes in the park, perhaps the most popular ones amongst tourists are Montaña de Fuego, Caldera del Corazoncillo, and Montaña Rajada. The place still has a lot of volcanic activity.
Hire a car in Lanzarote and admire the great diversity of Timanfaya Park, including over 180 different species of plants and interesting geological phenomena.
