The Sforza Castle, in Milan, was built between the years 1358 and 1368, under the rule of Galeazzo II Visconti and it's part of the emblematic symbols of the city.
The entrance is under the Filatere Towers, behind it is the Bona di Savoia Tower, and to its left, you'll see the Rocchetta, one used as a refuge from war attacks.
After 100 years of history, the castle was destroyed in 1447, to be rebuilt years later by Francesco Sforza.
Still, this wasn't the last time it was destroyed, in year 1880, it was rebuilt again, and the result is what you can visit and see now.
