There’s so much to see in Milan, so many different places to tour and enjoy that it will be hard to see it all in a few days, unless you have a Milan car hire.
Some places here date from thousands of years ago, from the Sforza Castle, going through the Cathedral, and the Reale Palace, you’ll find styles like the roman, neoclassic and modern.
If you’re visiting town you shouldn’t miss the many cultural sites, museums, tours and monuments. Today I’d like to talk about one captivating place in Milan, the famous Palazzo di Brera.
This majestic palace, located in Via Brera 28, was built in 1651 and finished in 1773. Later on, it received upgrades that made it look even more amazing. There’s an internal patio beautifully decorated with columns, arcs and a bronze statue of Antonio Canova.
Today, the building houses the Art Gallery, the Library, the Astronomical Observatory and the Fine Arts Academy, and they all have the palace’s name.
