Tips for a Great Summer Beach Trip by car hire

It's always a drag to get to the beach and realize you don't have something you need like an umbrella for shade, a cooler for drinks and snacks, or balls and toys for games in the sand or waves.  You can always plan your summer beach vacation to an all inclusive resort beach, and pay the high price for everything to be at your fingertips, but the best beaches are often the ones that cost nothing but require a car rental to find.

Before you even consider what to pack in your car rental for your trip to the beach you'll want to think of the most important travel accessory: good company.  I recently stayed at a rustic lodge in southern Costa Rica and there I met so many friends for my day trip to the beach that there just wasn't enough room for everyone in my little 4x4 car rental.  After I had loaded on my surfboard and packed in my new pals I was wishing I had gone ahead and gotten the 7 seater 4x4 Chevrlote Uplander car rental.

Once we got to the beach the accessory that came in the most handy was the secure bungie band I had for holding my car rental keys.  That is probably my number 1 tip to have a good time at the beach: don't loose your keys!  Think ahead and try to plan a beach outfit with pockets or a special way to care for your keys while you have a good time in the water and in the sand.
