Egremni beach is known to be well organized, with sun beds, umbrellas, and just the right number of little beach bars to quench your thirst as you need it without cluttering the scenery. The first thing you will notice is the impressively large size of the beach, and after that, its sparkling white sand and the abrupt cliffs, all leading to the most inviting crystal waters.

Egremni is reachable by car or bus, but if you choose to take a Lefkada rental car you will find a large parking area above the beach, where you can take the stairs down to Egremni. On your way to Egremni from the main town you will pass through Athani. This small village is a pleasant spot to stop for lunch, with a few restaurants which provide good views of the surrounding area.

While the waters of Egremni beach are beautiful, they aren't the best for snorkelling because the waves and sand cloud your view beyond a couple of feet. However, the water and the sand here are excellent for many activities and you are sure to find a day full of fun! Save a little energy for the climb back up to your Lefkada, Greece car rental though, unless you have someone to carry you back up the 354 steps to the top!
