Santa Faz Monastery, in Alicante
Santa Faz Monastery is located within Alicante, 8 km north of the city. Of renaissance style, its construction was finished in 1766, however it has a baroque facade. Its location in Alicante is very emblematic since it is within the route used during the Faz pilgrimage. This procession starts on the second Thursday after resurrection, with palm leaves being spread and rosemary branches.
