Renaissance Walls in Ibiza
Built to protect the city from French and Ottoman attacks this monumental entrance is framed by two Roman statues and above the gate’s arch there’s a big gravestone commemorating Phillip II, the city’s coat of arms and an inscription dating from 1585.
