Las Teresitas Beach, Tenerife
This is the most popular and touristic beach in Santa Cruz de Tenerife city. Located 7 km from downtown Santa Cruz, it has a 1,5 kilometre gold-coloured sand promenade. 
The beach is protected from currents and swell by breakwaters, thus it's an ideal place for children. It offers a great variety of restaurants and hotels as well.
