Canteras Beach, in Gran Canaria
Las Canteras Beach, in Gran Canary stretches for 3 kilometres of gold and chocolate sand. A 200 metre natural barrier makes of this beach a nice and peaceful lagoon, avoiding big waves to enter, and offering a nice warm temperature to enjoy any time of the year. This beach is also ideal for practicing a number of water sports.
Paseo de las Canteras is a crowded promenade, people passing by, tourists in our classic beach wear, residents dress more formally, and here you’ll find several shops and outdoor restaurants, bars and cafés.
