When it comes to weather, Bergamo is a pretty extreme city, with hot 35ºC summers and very cold winters, snow is frequent and you could easily find yourself in a -5ºC environment.
From October to April rain is common, so you should plan on your wardrobe carefully before travelling to Bergamo.
If you hire a car in Bergamo, I recommend parking in the lower part of the city, the high area doesn’t have much parking and it tends to be complicate to find a spot. Of course your own car in Bergamo will open your touring options. Enjoy your stay!
