Palazzo della Ragione

Once the seat of the administration of the city in the age of communes, Palazzo della Ragione is now home to paintings from the Accedemia Carrara and a well preserved 18th century sundial.  Dating back to the 12th century, the facade features the lion of St Mark over a mullioned window.

Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore
