Travel Tips from Friends

I just found this great new site perfect for frequent travelers by car hire called AllMyFriendsTravel.com.  All the fun things you might learn about if a good friend told you all about their travels or favorite destinations, as well as upcoming events.  Browse through the site and find out if there are any neat travel trips for your next destination by cheap car hire.

I'm all about knowing what events are going on during my stay in whatever part of the world I'm visiting so I was very pleasantly surprised by all the event listings on the AllMyFriendsTravel homepage.  Restaurant and hotel recommendations are great, but that is not usually what I remember most about a trip.  I want to be out and about, I want to go where the locals go, and if possible I want to celebrate with them!  That is where I believe you find real culture!  

A few of the upcoming events include the Leeds Festival and the Reading Festival, a pair of popular music festivals in England; the Edinburgh International Festival, a three week presentation of performing arts; the Venice International Film Festival, the Electric Zoo Festival (electronic music), and the Mystery Land dance festival in Holland.  Enjoy the August bank holiday weekend at the Leeds Festival with a cheap car rental from Leeds Airport.

Other great aspects of AllMyFriendsTravel include their great restaurant listing.  It is not so extensive, but the reviews are candid, like you would expect from a friend.  I found the hotel listings to be out of my range, for the most part.  However, these resorts sound great if you can afford it!
