As important as it is to follow all of the rules and stipulations of your car rental agreement, occasionally, under extreme circumstances, you may have to break one or two. Hopefully the car rental regulation you have to break will not be as severe as the one comedian Louis CK broke on a recent visit to California, USA. Check out this short comedy bit about what NOT to do when returning your car rental.
Hertz is one of the many car rental companies we work with which provide our customers with excellent car hire services in top destinations around the world. Hertz is known not only for having a multitude of offices in convenient travel locations and offering a wide range of popular makes and models, but for their fast and courteous service. Surely if Louis CK had planned a little better he could have made it in and out of the Hertz car rental office in plenty of time to catch his flight.
In all likelyhood this bit was written just for laughs with slight extensions of the truth. He glosses over the reaction of the car rental office employee as well as any consequences or fees he may have incurred for not returning the vehicle. Perhaps it is something that a time-pressured traveler could "get away" with, but if Hertz and other major car rental providers don't already have a policy for handling this situation they are sure to write one after one of the most famous comedians in America jokes about it. You can see more from Louis CK on his YouTube Channel, or catch his hit television show, Louie.
