How to get to Jerez

One of Andalusia’s major cities, Jerez de la Frontera, is situated in Costa de la Luz, in Spain. Considered the major transport place in the province of Cadiz, Jerez is definitely the province’s main economic engine.

Jerez can be found near the Guadalete River, in the western part of Andalusia. This is an excellent location to have a nice Jerez car hire tour. You can get to beach in only 15 minutes from here, or make a 35-minutes drive to Sierra de Grazalema, or get to Seville in just 1 hour.  Your Jerez rental car will be a great idea to make these tours in the city’s surroundings.

There are other options to get to Jerez when coming from within Spain; you can come by train or bus.  Located on the main line between Cadiz and Seville, via the FENFE, Spanish National Railway, Jerez operates a semi-regular bus route between Cadiz and Jerez Airport by Consorcio de Transportes Bahía de Cádiz. And for those who are already driving within Spain, take the motorway Jerez-Seville AP-4 / E-5 when coming from Seville to get to Jerez. If your location is the Northwest Coast, including Chipiona or Sanlucar, take the A-480 to get to Jerez.
