Good ideas in Tenerife

In Tenerife Island, there are so many things to do and see, I can’t get enough of this place. Two years ago my friend really wanted to visit the island, so I decided to join him. I’ll tell you about some places I recommend to any savvy traveler, who wishes for the best, perhaps some of them are in the most popular tour guides, perhaps some of them aren’t.

With a rental car in Tenerife, I would say about 5 days are necessary at least to get to see the diversity of the island. You will need a map or a GPS maybe to travel efficiently. Remember not to leave belongings in the car, take your cameras and things with you all the time.

If you’re looking for sun, heat and beaches, the best idea is to stay in the south of Tenerife. One of the most popular places is Playas de las Américas. Many tourists come here, I ran into a lot of Germans and English.

Now, if you’re looking for vegetation and a bit of shades, stay in El Puerto de La Cruz or the capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Any of these locations is great to start a good tour along Tenerife.
