Almeria's Historical Quarter

On one side, Almeria has part of the Historical Quarter and the Fishing Quarter where Muslim traces can be found. Outside the Historical Quarter are the civil and Christian buildings, as well as part of the modern city.  

The most charming places in Almeria to tour are in Las Ramblas, el Paseo de Almeria or in the San Nicolás Salmerón Park. Come to Las Ramblas, all the way down to the harbor and the Almadrabillas beach. Here you will see interesting symbols of the industrial architecture of the area.

Hire a car in Almeria and visit the palaces and castles in the Alcazaba complex, located in the Historical Quarter it has three main premises. The Alcazaba in Almeria was built on top of a hill, to be able to scan the horizon and defend from attackers and invaders.
