Lyon, a cozier Paris

Known as the city of silk, Lyon has been considered World Heritage by UNESCO. Plus, it has a very rich array of treasures, including its archaeological traces, medieval and renaissance towns, museums and a long cultural agenda around dance, theater and opera. For so many reasons Lyon is a perfect idea when visiting France, especially if you come in a Lyon rental car.

Lyon is the second most important city in France, after Paris, enjoying a very modern environment perhaps in a less cold way than Paris, and a bit cozier.

In fact, both cities have practically the same age, but of course, Lyon hasn’t suffered the same number of wars and attacks, which has helped to preserve its architecture a bit more.
