The World's Smallest Production Car

We've been focusing on small car rentals and economy car hire vehicles for a few days across our network and I thought this little video from youtube was fitting.  Although small car rentals are all the rage today and it seems as though models like the Smart Fortwo, Peugeot 107, Ford Fiesta and others couldn't possible be any smaller and still be functional, there were actually much smaller in production as long ago as 1962!

Introducing the P50.  Weighing in at a mere 59 kg and under 40 inches wide, the P50 is the world's smallest production vehicle.  If you're looking for the ultimate small car rental you'll have to go with something a bit larger, as there are only 20 P50s remaining, and as far as I know none of them are available for hire.

You can however, enjoy a similar experience and even bring a friend along in a small car hire like the Smart Fortwo.  Or for a bit more comfort on the road and space for a few more friends you can hire the quite small and economical Renault Clio car rental.
