Writing Reviews on TripAdvisor

I just recently wrote a review for the new guesthouse I stayed at in La Fortuna, Costa Rica on TripAdvisor. Writing a review is a great way to pass on information to your friends or any future travelers to that area and share good experiences.

My experience was great so of course I wrote them a good review. Though it may be easier to remember to write a review when your experience has been less than desirable, you should still try to remember to write reviews about your good experiences. This helps the best accommodations stay in business so you can visit them in the future.

Remember to add helpful information into your review about the area attractions. How did you get around? Where you able to walk? Was there public transportation, or did you need a rental car?

La Fortuna is small and I was able to walk to all the local shops and restaurants, but I was glad I had a car hire so that I could get to area attractions near Arenal Volcano like the hot springs. There are no busses that go from La Fortuna to the attractions near the Volcano and if you don't have a car hire you will have to take a taxi and it can get quite expensive. These are all things that are helpful for travelers to know before they arrive in a destination.
