Formentera's charm

Formentera is a beautiful island with interesting towns to visit. La Savina is the only harbour in the island, offering a charming view with a few white houses so typical and picturesque of the popular Pitiusas.

Hire a car in Formentera and head up north to Las Salinas or Ses Salines, a natural wonder not to be missed, for its landscapes and its ecological treasures, animals and plants combine in perfect harmony with the surroundings, it feels like getting away to a natural paradise stretching along headed to the Espalmador Island.

If you go to the heart of the island you’ll visit San Francisco Javier; a settlement of simple white houses facing the town’s church in an interesting setup. The beach here is called Cala Saona; you’ll enjoy its beauty and peaceful feeling.

Other towns to visit are San Fernando o Sant Ferran de Ses Roques, a charming forest with pine trees and Es Pujols beach to the other side of the coast.
