Tourism in Nice
They say tourism was born in Nice, in Cote d'Azur during the 18th century when British, Russian and even American aristocrats came to enjoy a merciful winter and the good food of the region. 
Later, tourism became more popular and now Nice beach is full of people, but if you hire a car in Nice and make your way into the old quarter, you will be able to discover a traditional town with a very “niçois” style, full of colours, olive oil, and southern accents.
